Dear Parents, Staff and Learners

I would like to welcome everyone back to another great year of learning. As we approach this new school year, we will continue to keep student growth and progression as our top priority.
AFLCA has always been a popular private school with a strong academic and pastoral reputation. We take pride in our traditions, whilst embracing innovation and change that best prepares our students for the challenges they will meet in the future. We will continue to meet every child where they are and move them forward with understanding and compassion.
“In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.” - Mother Teresa
In her quote, Mother Teresa very powerfully captures important wisdom about how to approach life (and schooling) to make it more fulfilling and significant. Teaching and learning offers us all numerous opportunities to focus on “small things” that culminate over time to produce students that are prepared to do the “great things” in life.

Parents are valuable partners. We respectfully encourage our parents to visit our school, consult with our staff and participate in the holistic development of our students. We realize that an optimum primary school education is essential preparation to student’s long-term success. With your support, AFLCA will continue to be a positive environment where everyone is successful. We value and appreciate our students, staff, and families.
Sincerely,
Mr. Leonard Flashman

Dear Parents, Staff and Learners
“Education is one thing no one can take away from you.” —Elin Nordegren
As we go into a new year of learning and teaching , may I encourage all of us to do our part. in education. We as a school will provide education that is fun, informative and in line with international and national school standards.
In turn can we ask that learners do their share , and complete assignments in time, study for tests and exams, and give their full attention to the teachers in class. Parents your part is as important as the two above. You need to ensure that you provide for your child in the form of food, textbooks, support, accountability and school fees.
